Αφού το Mi Mix 3 πήρε κανονικά την έκδοση MIUI 11 beta την περασμένη εβδομάδα, τώρα είναι η ώρα του Xiaomi Mi 8 να συμμετάσχει στο πρόγραμμα. Οι Κινέζοι χρήστες έχουν αρχίσει να λαμβάνουν την ενημερωμένη έκδοση που έρχεται με το MIUI 11 9.10.24 και με όγκο στα 2.1GB. Φέρνει επίσης την ενημερωμένη έκδοση ασφαλείας του Οκτωβρίου παράλληλα με όλες τις νέες οπτικές και άλλες αλλαγές περί απόδοσης που συνοδεύουν γενικά το MIUI 11. Δεν υπάρχει ακόμη καμία λέξη για τη διεθνή ανάπτυξη.
